Regenerated cellulose

Features

  • Hydrophilic material.
  • Dry thermal stability up to 180°C.
  • Average thickness:170 µm.
  • Very low protein adsorption capacity, even lower than cellulose acetate.
  • Water extractables: < 1%.
  • Excellent compatibility with aqueous solutions in pH range 4 - 8 and with organic solvents as acetone, acetonitrile, chloroform, ethylene glycol, isopropanol, etc.
  • Autoclavable at 121°C..

Uses

Filtration of alcohols and aggressive organic solvents, especially those used for HPLC.
